The Physicians' Ally Coding Class
Millions of health care providers, and thousands of medical practices, rely on billing codes. By learning to code correctly, you will help your practice increase its revenue and patient satisfaction . . . and make yourself more valuable in the process.
Everyone interested in learning medical billing or practice management should study to obtain the CPC credential. This credential is recognized nationally and is issued by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC). Employees with a CPC credential are a critical component of a compliant and profitable medical practice, and typically earn 20% more than non-certified coders. The credential signifies mastery of the codes that represent 100% of the revenue to the physician practice through correct diagnosis (ICD-10), procedure (CPT®), and supply (HCPCS Level II) codes.
everyone can learn how to code correctly
At Physicians’ Ally, we do coding consulting, but our real interest is in educating every person handling billing at every practice on effective coding techniques. We back up this commitment by requiring our staff to become Certified Professional Coders.
To date, 11 Physicians’ Ally employees are certified or pursuing certification. Physicians’ Ally founder, Marcia Brauchler holds both the AAPC-approved certification instructor (CPC-I) credential and the AAPC’s hospital certification (COC).
For those just starting, or considering a career in billing, our coding class provides the basic explanations and overview you’ll need in order to become an expert. You will learn not just what to do, but why to do it, so that you can continue to learn and grow on the job—and be a strong performer from your very first day.
For those with coding experience, our class covers far more than the typical coding certification class. We will fill in the gaps in your coding knowledge, making you even more indispensable to the physicians in your practice.
Our course prepares you to make a difference on the job, and to pass the exam
The AAPC and others offer a base curriculum designed to pass the exam. Our class goes far beyond. Physicians’ Ally has spent hundreds of hours improving the base curriculum and creating content that prepares you for a successful real-world career, not only to pass a test. Multiple specialty physicians have reviewed the curriculum in detail and have taught several of the modules. The Physicians’ Ally coding class is truly the best medical coding education available anywhere.

Jin Voelkelt, CPC-A, Recent online graduate
Physicians' Ally Billing Specialist
The Physicians' Ally CPC Prep class that I completed online, really helped me gain the skills and knowledge to successfully earn my CPC-A. Marcia weaves her humor and knowledge into the video presentations which made the classes much more enjoyable. Moreover, I learned the skills so that I now know how to code in the real world of billing and coding. I'm so grateful for the online format with its flexible schedule. I'm very glad that I took the class through Physicians' Ally, Inc. and Marcia.

The Physicians' Ally, Inc. ICD-10 prep class is a must for anyone that would like to gain a greater understanding of the concepts behind the implementation of the new ICD-10 standard. The coursework and lectures were straightforward and an excellent guide for my expectations. I recommend the class to anyone considering a career in medical coding or anyone looking to become more knowledgeable about the implementation and reasoning for the use of ICD-10. This course is a great reference and teaching tool.
